Hey, everyone!
This is an interesting topic for any forum-based community or community with an attached forum. Usernames. What does your username mean to you?
For example, my username, ExistentialGrey89, comes from an old philosophical concept which I studied as an early teen. "Grey" comes from a term of yes/no middle ground, and "existential" comes from the idea of existence preceding essence. The combination of these terms is how I feel in life — especially with how much time I spend in a digital reality. Working from home, studying from home, and playing from home all involve the internet now.
So, it's that I feel like I'm in an Existential Grey area of existence/non-existence/digital existence. It's a depressingly comforting concept.
The "89" comes from the fact that I received my first D&D books, PHB/DMG/MM on my birthday that year.
What about yours?
